I want to start scratching vinyls and mixing beats, want every bit of it to be PC compatible, starting with ion usb turn tables down to what ever else I'll need, please tell me what all i will need, some good brands, and some links if you would ,just a new hobby i'm getting into so nothing to high end please.. I just got audacity and i was wondering if there is a way to make mixes like the dj's do. For example when they fade in one song after the other. I know that scratching can not be done because one would need a turn table. Also, is there anyway to beat match with audacity? If so, let me know please.

I use Tha Virtual DJ Program and a BCD2000 Midi Controler.
But when I try to Scratch on my BCD2000 it dosent sound quite like vinal. I planing on geting a turntable to connect to my BCD2000 just for scratching. Whats a good vinyl record that will make good DJ scratching sounds?
